North Unit Irrigation District 43 Lateral Segment 2 Piping

This project included installation of nearly 6.5 miles of HDPE pipe ranging from 6 to 63 inches in diameter. TNW’s scope covered trenching, earthwork, pipe welding, backfill, compaction, and site restoration. The alignment crossed US 97, requiring additional permitting, detailed planning, and traffic control. Crews also removed two county bridges and completed three roadway crossings. The project included with construction of an energy dissipation structure designed to safely reduce approximately 65 PSI of hydraulic energy before returning flows to the canal. All work was completed during the irrigation off season, with the system fully restored ahead of the April 2025 season – meeting critical agricultural demands and schedule constraints.
