Redmond Wetlands Complex

Redmond Wetlands Complex

Selected through a best value procurement process, TNW is delivering the project—one of the City’s largest public works initiatives—expanding and modernizing the wastewater treatment system to increase capacity and support long-term community growth. Constructed on a DEQ-permitted and controlled site, the project includes 36 acres of treatment lagoons, 90 acres of constructed wetlands with integrated public access amenities, and administrative and maintenance support facilities. Key improvements also include upsizing approximately three miles of existing 24-inch-diameter gravity sewer main to 48-inch-diameter pipe. Installation of the new pipeline required extensive coordination with adjacent property owners, while construction activities were carefully phased to maintain continuous operation of the existing facility. The project involves approximately 700,000 cubic yards of excavation and material processing, all of which remains on site, with roughly 75% reused in the construction of permanent facilities.
