La Pine Water and Wastewater Improvements (WWSI)

La Pine Water and Wastewater Improvements (WWSI)

The WWSI Project represents the largest infrastructure improvement project undertaken by the City of La Pine to date, delivering significant upgrades to both wastewater and water systems to support long-term community growth. The project was completed in three major components. The first included construction of a 20-acre lined effluent storage lagoon, along with lagoon piping, flow control structure modifications, an irrigation pump station, and a recycled water system featuring two 100-acre center pivot irrigation systems. Additional elements included a septage receiving station and new electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems. The second component consisted of a 500,000-gallon welded steel water storage reservoir, associated site work, and upgrades to two water well pump stations, including system monitoring and controls. The third component focused on expanding service to local neighborhoods through installation of new water distribution lines, as well as wastewater collection and pumping systems.
