Airport Runway 15-33 Reconstruction and Associated Improvements

This airfield improvement project included the relocation of the Runway 33 threshold and the widening and full-depth reconstruction of Runway 15-33 to enhance safety and operational efficiency. The scope also features construction of new taxiways, installation of a new Medium Intensity Runway Lighting (MIRL) system, comprehensive drainage upgrades, and upgraded runway and taxiway signage with associated electrical improvements. The project was executed in carefully planned phases to minimize operational impacts, including a critical 120-hour continuous closure to reconstruct the runway intersection.
