The 10th & Main Intersection Improvements was a multiphase roadway and active transportation project that included intersection reconfiguration, traffic signaling, pedestrian facility improvements, and utility relocations and upgrades, including to the stormwater system. To minimize public and stakeholder impacts, TNW coordinated closely with landowners and businesses on right-of-way acquisition and sequencing, prioritized work zone traffic safety, and implemented early work packages for the sewer main—delivering a
fully operational system within six months of contract execution. Construction phasing and schedule acceleration avoided school-year traffic disruptions, reduced impacts to local traffic and businesses, and maintained project momentum.
