This two-year piping project included the installation of over 15,000 LF of 102-inch and 108-inch steel pipe that was lined and welded in the field, 7,000 LF of 36-in. HDPE pipe, multiple precast structures, concrete discharge structures, and other improvements along the canal alignment between Terrebonne and the O’Neil Highway. TNW crews processed 258,000 tons of aggregate material on site to reuse as backfill, bolstering the infrastructure’s stability. Serving as COID’s Construction Manager / General Contractor, TNW engaged in considerable upfront planning including early material selection and procurement, design optimization, and continuous coordination with the engineer and COID. Planning is underway for future phases.
