This landmark infrastructure project is the largest single transportation project in Prineville’s history, jointly delivered by the City of Prineville and the Ochoco Irrigation District. The effort co-located a new arterial roadway with a 78-inch HDPE irrigation pipeline within a shared corridor, addressing long-standing transportation, safety, water delivery, and land development needs in a unified solution. Roadway improvements included the extension of NE Combs Flat Road approximately 5,900 linear feet, construction of a new roundabout at NE Hudspeth Road, and installation of new water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure. Irrigation piping work included installation of approximately 7,200 linear feet of 78-inch HDPE pipeline along the corridor, supporting critical regional water delivery improvements while enabling future growth and connectivity.
